The Pioneer Circle

The Pioneer Circle is a group of like-minded individuals who believe in funding the potential of everyone. By working together, we are supporting disabled people to achieve their full potential.

What is The Pioneer Circle?

We reach over 75,000 people a year globally through care and independent living services, education, employment, digital inclusion, and skills development programmes. To help us to continue to do this, we've established The Pioneer Circle.

To be part of our unstoppable team, we ask Pioneers to make a minimum annual donation of £1,000. This can be a one-off donation or across the course of the year.

Pioneers support disabled people to achieve their goals in the here and now. By joining the Pioneer Circle, you will support us to continue to fight for disabled people through building, funding and scaling projects designed to permanently eradicate barriers to inclusion.

How Pioneers can help

In 2019 we opened the first of our new social enterprises in the heart of Swansea. The Social Bean is a pioneering coffee shop with a difference, providing work and experience for disabled people. It is where Michelle got her first job.

"I had very low confidence and belief in myself: I did not think I had any chance of paid employment. I have experience with chronic depression and medically controlled schizophrenia, and this had been a barrier for me in gaining employment."

“When I look back on how far I have come, I am astounded at what I have been able to accomplish, and so proud.”
