Learning and lifestyle
What we do goes far beyond providing social care. We build confidence through volunteering and break down barriers through access to computers and adapted IT equipment.
Being able to enjoy a day out, try a new activity or just spend quality time with others can make a real difference to our lives. Our day time centres give thousands of people the opportunity to do these things and much more.
Digital technology can make things easier for everyone. But we know if you have a disability, it can do even more. It can make things possible.
Can Do is a skills development programme for individuals aged 16-35 with a disability or long term health condition.
Change Makers is a citizen reporting programme for young people aged 16-25 with a disability or additional need.
Our accessible holidays offer you or your carer the opportunity to take a well-earned break. The Park House Hotel in Sandringham is currently undergoing a renonvation project but we also have wheelchair accessible locations in Scotland.
Our YouthAbility project provides inclusive youth clubs across Cumbria for young disabled people aged eight and above.
Every local authority can offer money instead of arranging services for those who are eligible. When a council gives someone money in this way it is known as a direct payment.
Southwark Advice Plus is an information, advice and access service for disabled adults (18+) living in Southwark (London).
