The Orchard is a home providing a range of services for adults with physical and sensory impairments.

The Orchard is a modern purpose-built home situated in a quiet area of south Liverpool. We offer both residential and shorter stays. Our home was built in 1985, and has 27 bedrooms which are individually decorated. The building has recently been modernised — our residents helped us to make decisions about the work carried out.

The residents ensure their home has a lively atmosphere. Activities at The Orchard include arts and crafts, DVD watching, computing, quizzes, playing on the Wii, big screen movie nights and gardening. We also enjoy daytime and evening outings such as trips to the theatre, cinema, pub or sports centre. Local people join us for events including BBQs in our courtyard area.

Our fully-trained staff are committed to ensuring that everybody here is happy in their home. We pride ourselves on putting our residents first and we support everybody to be independent and to take part in community activities as they wish.

The Orchard has a keyworker system, which means that a particular staff member will be responsible for ensuring that your needs are met and that you are happy at the home. You can choose which staff member you would like as your keyworker.
