We are offering a fantastic opportunity to participate in a community allotment project. You would be responsible for working on the allotment under direction & assisting Leonard Cheshire residents and other community partners to use the space.
Minimum of 2 hours a week – flexibly arranged with the community volunteering coordinator.
We are currently recruiting for a number of community volunteers to help support disabled people to access their communities
- 3 months minimum commitment
- Minimum 2 hours per week between the hours of 10am - 3pm, Monday to Friday.
We are currently recruiting for number of volunteer befrienders to help support service users with daily activities at the Randall Close Resource centre.
Each cohort will last seven weeks with two sessions per week. We will have a two week break in-between cohorts.
(Roughly five hours a week during cohorts)
We are currently recruiting for a volunteer to join the WoW team in changing the lives of disabled people through the world of work, education and volunteering.
- Up to 3hrs per month including planning meeting & setting up and packing away.
- The live sessions are usually weekly on a Wednesday morning 10.30-11.30 am.
- Music recordings can be made and used for our virtual and telephone meetings.
We are currently recruiting for a volunteer to entertain & befriend group members including DLDS residents and community friendship groups.
We ask for at least 2-3 hours each week. This can be flexible but needs to work around the availability of the volunteer, person we support and the service.
We are currently looking for volunteers to assist our customers in completing a survey feedback form on their experiences with Leonard Cheshire.
Approximately 6 hours commitment every month.
As a volunteer in our Community Development team, you'll campaign on local issues and raise awareness to support all aspects of the work Leonard Cheshire does
