Neil Heslop, chief executive
Neil Heslop OBE was previously managing director at RNIB Solutions. He is also co-founder and trustee of Blind in Business, an organisation he set up over twenty years ago.
In a 20-year career, Neil has held senior roles in the telecoms industry in North America and the UK. These include head of strategy and general manager of retail operations at O2, CEO of Cincinnati Bell Wireless and director of CTIA — the Wireless Association.
Sarah Broad, chief financial officer
Sarah Broad was appointed as chief financial officer in April 2015.
Sarah had been our managing director finance since 2012 and previously held a number of senior posts at STA Travel and Computershare.
Sarah Bryan, director of fundraising
Sarah joined Leonard Cheshire Disability in 2015. She has held a number of senior fundraising posts in major charities including the Salvation Army and Combat Stress.
Most recently, Sarah has been a senior consultant working with, among others, the Design Council and Oxfam. She brings with her considerable skills to support our fundraising team, with particular expertise in individual giving and legacies.
Mark Elliott, director of development
Mark has over 20 years’ experience in health and social care in operational management and business development in the UK and internationally.
He is responsible for property, enterprise and innovation, volunteering, customer support and leading on the development of our care services across the UK.
David Jessop, people director
David joined Leonard Cheshire Disability in August 2016. Prior to joining the charity, he held a number of senior roles within third sector and commercial organisations, including The Royal British Legion Industries, Rathbone UK and Harrods Limited.
David has a special interest in tackling social disadvantage and is a former board member of ERSA, the Employment Related Services Association.
Tiziana Oliva, international director
Tiziana has enjoyed a successful career in international development working principally in Africa. She joined the charity from the VSO’s global leadership team, where in her position as director of Africa she had responsibility for operations in 18 countries and three regional hubs.
Prior to VSO, she worked in senior leadership roles in Merlin and CARE International, with field work on humanitarian interventions as well as long term recovery and development programmes.
Mrunal Sisodia, director of projects
Mrunal's role is to make sure we are organised in the best possible way to successfully deliver our manifesto, and he is responsible for some significant strategic projects.
He has been a consultant with a number of charities, local authorities, NHS groups and schools to help them design, commission and deliver better services for disabled people and disadvantaged children. Mrunal also has 18 years of experience of change management in the financial services sector.
