Access and inclusion survey

Our survey template can help you to evaluate how accessible and welcoming your group, class, or school is for disabled people.

This activity is a great way to introduce your group or class to access surveys. It can help you find out how accessible and inclusive your own venue is for disabled people.

It will help young people to understand some of the reasons why disabled people can feel excluded. It's also a good way to introduce the issue of bullying. Research shows that disabled primary school pupils are twice as likely to experience persistent bullying as their non-disabled peers.

What your group will gain

Young people will learn about the small changes that can be made to ensure that everyone can be included. This can be anything from gaining physical access to being met with welcoming attitudes. Your group will become more inclusive and ready to do access surveys in your community.
