Go A Day Without

Everyday some students across the world have to go without some things we perhaps take for granted – just because they are disabled.

Students will gain a deeper understanding of what it means to live with a disability. By giving up something taken for granted, your students will learn what it means to go without school for disabled children.

You'll also be helping us to continue to support more disabled students across Africa and Asia to get better access to education.

A Day Without 2019 has already taken place.

Thank you to everyone who supported us with A Day Without 2019.

If you would like to register your interest for A Day Without 2020 please get in touch at schools@leonardcheshire.org.

Meet Rebecca

Rebecca’s bus to school only comes three days a week. And because she’s a wheelchair user she misses two days of education and time with her friends each week – all because the transport isn’t available to her.

Make a pledge to go #ADayWithout and support disabled students like Rebecca and those who go without education every day.
