Cheer Point Volunteers | London Marathon

Supporting the Virgin Money London Marathon on Sunday 3rd October 2021. We have two cheer points (Greenwich & Tower Hill) and we need YOU to cheer on our incredible runners and get them to that finish line.

Volunteer Gardeners

If you have a few hours to spare on a weekly/monthly basis and would like to volunteer as a gardener with us, we would love to hear from you.

Do you have a passion for gardening with some time to spare? We are looking for volunteers to help with the upkeep of the service in general garden activities or to provide additional support to people who use our services.

Volunteer Driver

Days and times for volunteer driving duties will be varied and dependent on circumstances but always by prior arrangement and agreement.

We're looking for experienced drivers to support the residents at our Agate House service.

1-2 hrs per week on either a Wednesday, Friday or the Weekend

If you have some time to spare and would like a new rewarding role then becoming a Community Befriender Volunteer could be for you.

Befriender

Location:
Kendal | Cumbria
Time commitment:

The days and times of all volunteering is discussed and agreed with the volunteer, client, and staff beforehand to suit all parties. Typically, this role would be one afternoon visit of around 1-2 hours per week, but more or less time can be arranged.

We are currently looking for a volunteer to engage with a 60+ lady and support her in getting out and about into the community.
