A warm welcome to Hydon Hill
We provide support and nursing care for physically disabled adults in a friendly and safe home. Our team is fully trained and we’re regulated by the Care Quality Commission.
You’ll find us in a beautiful rural location outside Godalming in Surrey. Guildford is within easy reach, with its fantastic range of shopping, culture and leisure options. We’re also only a short hop from the south coast — ideal for day trips.
Facilities for you
Our facilities include:
- 46 bedrooms, many with direct outdoor access
- well-maintained gardens with quiet areas and patios
- comfortable lounges
- a bar
- physiotherapy equipment
- transport — adapted vehicles for residents’ use
We make sure mealtimes can be enjoyed by everyone. Our menus are planned by our residents and staff — tell us about your favourite dish!
The home offers a range of activities for residents, including crafts, games and sailing at nearby Frensham Pond. You’ll have the chance to be social, get creative or enjoy exercise — you choose. We encourage people to take part but there’s no pressure.
Group activities aren’t for everyone and you might just want to do things on your own. If so, we can help. If you need support, one option is to find a volunteer to come along with you.
Whatever activities you’d like to do, you can always talk to one of our team about the different choices available to you.
‘We all have our own bedrooms, and I have a computer in my room. The staff are all very friendly and will do anything you want them to do. The volunteers are invaluable as well.
‘I love going to concerts and the cinema, and there’s always a volunteer to escort us. I think of the volunteers as friends really. They enjoy coming out with us, and we love going, so everyone is happy!’
