Birnbeck House is a home providing a range of services for adults with learning disabilities. It's a lovely Edwardian building situated near the sea front in the popular holiday town of Weston super Mare.
The town is well known for its beach, which visiting tourists enjoy throughout the year. The town comes alive in the summer months with its annual carnival, exhibitions of sand sculptures and numerous other attractions. The seafront promenade is only a short distance away from our home, and a number of our rooms enjoy sea views.
Our residents make sure their home has a lively atmosphere. We offer a wide range of activities, including swimming, music and dance therapy, and social events. We also hold fundraising events in the home, which residents get involved with, if they wish.
Our fully-trained staff members are experienced and provide our residents with 24-hour support. We support our residents to be independent and to take part in community activities as they wish.
Birnbeck House has a keyworker system, which means that a particular staff member will be responsible for ensuring that your needs are met and that you are happy at the home. You can choose which staff member you would like as your keyworker.
