My Break, My Choice

My Break, My Choice, is really all about you.

At Leonard Cheshire in Scotland, we want to help ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to lead an independent life, a life that you choose.

To do this, we can help you get out and about to do the things that you want to do. This can mean a trip to the supermarket, helping you organise a holiday abroad or a small break at home, or going to a concert: the choice is yours.

New skills and experiences

As well as getting to do the things that you want to do, My Break, My Choice allows you to learn new skills and have new experiences, such as:

  • A person who uses our services with a staff member meeting Captain Jack Sparrowbudgeting
  • cooking
  • organising
  • IT skills
  • decision making
  • socialising
  • visiting new places
  • and much, much more!

You can earn an SQA Award going from a Bronze, to a Silver, to a Gold! And all the while, having fun, doing new things and meeting new people along the way.

If you have any questions or to get invloved please get in touch with Vicky on vicky.pollock@leonardcheshire.org or call  0131 346 9059.
