Students become star bakers to support local nursing home

Students from St Michaels School at their bake saleStudents from St Michael's School, Bryn, became star bakers to raise vital funds for Ty Cwm care home run by Leonard Cheshire Disability.

Vidushi Vitharaha, who volunteers at the service, organised a bake sale at St Michael’s which raised over £180.

Volunteer coordinator Ruth Evans said:

‘We are really grateful for the amazing support from St Michaels which is raising funds for hydrotherapy at the service.’

In addition Ty Cwm has organised a Christmas raffle which will be drawn at the Christmas party later this month.
