Congratulations to Llanhennock Lodge, Danybyrn and Dolywern, whose project was voted one of the top three in the People's Project competition.

‘When I opened the golden envelope with one of our residents, it was very emotional.’

— Spencer Jones, service manager at Danybryn

Working with charity partners Keep Wales Tidy and the Wildlife Trusts, the funding will go towards accessible outdoor spaces to be enjoyed by residents and their local community!

‘It will make such a difference to the residents at Dolywern if they can enjoy access to the gardens and grow their own vegetables and fruit, which they can then eat for their meals.’— Sylvia Jones, activities organiser and volunteer coordinator at Dolywern

A massive thank you to everyone who voted!

We are overwhelmed here and looking forward to the garden being beautiful once again. Most of the residents will be trying their best to help plant either flowers or vegetables. We shall put new pictures on Facebook as soon as everything is in full bloom and the veg are ready to pick and eat.
