Will you make a difference in 2015?

30 December 2014

A few hours of your time can make a huge difference to the people who use our care services.

We support thousands of disabled people across the UK to maintain their independence, achieve their goals and live the lives they choose. We can only achieve everything we do thanks to our army of committed volunteers who give up their time to help.

Could you spare a few hours to support disabled people in your community?

Volunteering is incredibly rewarding. It's a chance to make new friends, develop your skills and make a real difference to people's lives.

‘It is hard to put into words how much fun I have volunteering. If I could draw a picture it would be a massive smile! I would absolutely recommend volunteering to everyone.’ — Fiona

We have all sorts of roles so there's something for everyone. We are especially looking for drivers and also need people to help with:

  • doing activities with residents
  • having a cup of tea and a chat with people we support
  • lending a hand at events
  • raising funds for our homes
  • campaigning
  • gardening
  • ...and more!
