Volunteers’ Week 2015

1 June 2015

by Begoña Mendez

The first week of June is Volunteers’ Week, the annual celebration of the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK.

We know what an incredible difference volunteers make to the lives of the residents and other people who use our services.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our volunteers for the time and dedication they have given.

Without their contributions, we simply would not be able to support disabled people throughout the UK as well as we do.

In celebration of volunteers, our services throughout the country will be marking Volunteers’ Week with various activities.

If you're interested in volunteering at one of our services, please search for a service near you.

There’s a range of opportunities and we welcome all offers to volunteer. In particular, we need drivers to take our residents and people who use our services out and about.

But whatever skills you have, we will be able to find a fun opportunity that will make a real difference to the lives of the disabled people.
