Tri Together taster session returns for May!
27 May 2014
Saturday 24 May saw 20 people attend our final Tri Together taster session of 2014 at Crystal Palace, London.
These taster sessions are perfect for those new to triathlon or thinking about taking part in Tri Together. Everyone gets to receive some one-to-one advice and gets the chance to try out the swim, cycle and run route ahead of the event.
Audrey Livingston, a sports health and fitness coach and a British Triathlon Federation referee, and coach Jim Kirkland provided some overall triathlon advice and guidance on training, technique and transition. Swim for Tri coaches led on the swim training sessions.
Alan Henderson, a Tri Together participant in 2013, said:
We really enjoyed the taster session on Saturday and learned some really useful tips, tricks and techniques. It was also great to meet people who had taken part in previous triathlons and listen to their own experiences.
Thanks to Wheels For Wellbeing there was also an opportunity to try out alternative cycles such as the companion cycle.
