Super Suppers at Spitalfields Market

9 November 2015

Jasmine and Nataleigh at Spitalfields Marketby Klara Wertheim

We're taking over a market stall to bring the best of supper club food to hungry Londoners this Friday and Saturday, so come along if you're in the area!

The stall will be at Old Spitalfields Market on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 November 2015, serving delicious New Orleans vegetarian gumbo and beautiful Pakistani bun kababs!

We're doing this to launch our fantastic new fundraising campaign Super Suppers.

Now the weather has got chillier, what could be more fun than a tasty meal at home with your friends?

We’ll send you a free pack to make your meal extra special, and the funds you raise will support disabled people who live in your local area. So book in your Super Supper now!

We're very lucky to have Gumbo Galley chef Nataleigh Strasburg cooking for us!

Nataleigh hosts regular supper clubs and private events and used to be a social worker before embarking on her foodie career.

She has a personal experience of disability when her mother became paralysed, and knows the invaluable work support workers do to care for disabled people.

‘I'm really proud to be cooking for the Super Supper’s launch. From personal experience and in my previous career as social worker, I have seen just how much charities like Leonard Cheshire Disability make a real difference in people’s lives.

‘I encourage you to get involved and plan a dinner with friends this November!’ — Nataleigh Strasburg

Klara Wertheim is an events officer at Leonard Cheshire Disability.
