Inclusive and accessible kitchens
Working closely with us for over 11 years, Howdens Joinery has developed a range of inclusive kitchens and accessories which enable disabled people to retain independence in their kitchens.
Inclusive kitchens have a great variety of clever features and adaptations, to help with most aspects of food preparation, cooking and cleaning.
Their range includes easy-to-reach ovens, remote control extractors, pull-out accessories, and height adjustable worktops and cabinets.
This means more people can keep using their kitchen at every stage of their life.
Howdens is passionate about supporting local communities, and has generously donated more than 50 inclusive kitchens to our residential and day services across the UK. They are also a major funder for our Can Do project, which encourages young disabled people to volunteer in their communities.
