Group activities aren’t for everyone and you might just want to do things on your own. If so, we can help.

Whatever activities you’d like to do, remember you can always talk to one of our team about your options.

Alex's story

Alex, a resident at Saltways

‘I’ve lived at the Saltways for four years and I like it. I enjoy doing things in the home and also how we get out and meet people outside.

‘A big thing for me is being able to make music — it’s something I’ve always done. I used to play the guitar, but I can’t any more so these days I sing and write music — mostly pop music.

‘Last year some of us got together and held a Christmas concert — we invited friends and local people. I also go to church nearby, so I do get to see a lot of people.

‘It’s nice being in a place where you feel part of things at home and in the local area.’
