That’s why each Leonard Cheshire home is unique, and provides the support that’s right for the people who live there. Personalised support helps to make sure everyone can live as independently as they choose.

Kirkliston is home for eight adults with learning disabilities. We’re just outside Edinburgh city centre, with the River Almond nearby – so there are beautiful, relaxing walks right on our doorstep. We’re close to local shops and a leisure centre, and have great transport links into central Edinburgh.

Live here and you’ll be supported to be independent, healthy and active. There’s something for everyone and our great team of staff and volunteers run individual and group activities. We often organise trips to the theatre or ice skating, and enjoy celebrating birthdays and special occasions. So whatever your interests, from keeping fit to being creative, there’s always something to get involved in.
