We're working with disabled children, parents and teachers in Zambia to support over 750 disabled children to attend school.
Building on our previous work in Zambia, our current project aims to support over 750 disabled children access education.
We support disabled children to access assistive devices, medical support and rehabilitation whilst working with parents and the local community to help change the attitudes towards disability.
We're also working with teachers to make sure their methods are inclusive and the schools are accessible, both the building themselves and also any educational materials.
- Help support 750 disabled children enrol in school
- Work with five community support workers, who will help reaching families of disabled children within the local communities
- Train 100 teachers in inclusive teaching methods
- Support 30 School Management Committees to develop inclusive school policies
