Pre-qualification of suppliers for goods and services

The project is working with over 2,500 girls with disability, 83 learning institutions, 1800 Parents, approximately 700 teachers among other stakeholders.

LC - EAR invites applications from interested, eligible and competent bidders to be pre-qualified for the supply of goods, provision of services and repair and maintenance services for the period ending 30 November 2020.

New Processes and systems have been instituted- if you applied before but were not successful, you are highly encouraged to apply again.

Vendors/suppliers of LCD – EAR whose MoUs have not yet expired are kindly advised that we will continue working with them during the duration for which their MOU’s are valid, but are however advised to re-apply because of the additional requirements in this new process and also the new duration call/Bid.

Required documents are as detailed below: 

  1. A copy of certificate of incorporation/registration
  2. Copy of V.A.T Registration Certificate
  3. Tax compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority 
  4. Copies of Pin Certificates of Firm/Company/Individual- where applicable (Community suppliers to attach applicable relevant documents) 
  5. Bank references and Details
  6. Contact Address (physical location) and other necessary contacts of the business:

Application Guidelines

Download the forms provided: Category A (Word Doc.), Category B (Word Doc) and Category C (Word Doc.)

Completed prequalification documents together with attachments to be dropped off at our tender boxes both in Nairobi or Kisumu Offices.

Please note that the envelopes are strictly dropped into the tender boxes by whoever brings them, if left at the gate or reception, they will be automatically disqualified. The envelopes should be clearly marked the category of the goods i.e. A, B& C and the code number.

If one is applying for several categories or different code numbers, every application should be envelope with all sets of documents (a) to (g) in every envelope.
