Call for consultancy services to conduct a teacher training pilot in Tanzania and Uganda

Leonard Cheshire Disability (LCD), through consultancy with Enabling Education Network (EENET), has developed a teacher training manual to be used across its Inclusive Education programmes in Africa and Asia. The manual was developed following a review of internal manuals which were found not to be standardised, resulting in a variant in quality and approach.

The project is now seeking to procure the services of an experienced consultant to train trainers, head teachers and teachers using the Leonard Cheshire Disability teacher training manual.

The consultant will test the content of the teacher training manual to assess usability, effectiveness and impact within two partner-led Leonard Cheshire Disability inclusive education projects (Uganda and Tanzania); and simultaneously develop a pilot structure of delivery of the manual as the teacher training component of the Leonard Cheshire Disability inclusive education model within projects.

This consultancy is anticipated to last until the end of 2018 as a maximum and will be awarded to the consultant(s) which offer a technical and financial proposal which demonstrates relevant experience in related assignments and meets the specifications of the Terms of Reference at a competitive rate and timeline.
