Volunteer at Tri Together

You don't have to race to participate!

Not the sporty type? Unable to participate? We would still love to have you on our team. Putting on a triathlon event like this requires a dedicated, enthusiastic team of volunteers to make it a success.

Training and free stuff

No experience is necessary as we will provide training for all volunteers and we welcome disabled and non-disabled volunteers. We will provide you with free food and drinks to make sure that you are fully energized for the day ahead (it’s not only athletes who need energy!) and all volunteers will also receive a certificate and a free Tri Together team t-shirt to wear on the day which you can take home as a souvenir.

Volunteering at this unique event will be a rewarding opportunity that will not only leave you feeling part of something special but gives you a great opportunity to:

  • Meet new people
  • Learn a new skill
  • Use your experience and existing skills to help a good cause and your local community
  • Get job and college references
  • Gain work experience for your CV
  • Most importantly you will ensure a positive and memorable experience for all the athletes taking part.

Putting on an event like this includes a wide variety of tasks that aren’t always obvious to the competitors. Some of the roles we need volunteers to take on include: venue set-up crew, welcome crew, medal crew, course marshal, etc.

More detailed information about each role will be sent out nearer the time so please fill out the enquiry form below and we'll be in touch.

This will be an all-day event and we will require volunteers to arrive between 7am and 9am on the day of the triathlon. If you can't offer a full day, you could just do a half day.

Think you've got what it takes?
