The Blue Badge scheme helps disabled people to park closer to their destination, for example if they’re driving to work or going to the shops.
But the badges can sometimes be used in the wrong way, for example if a friend or family member uses the badge when the disabled person it belongs to is not with them. When this happens it stops other disabled people from being able to park where they need to.
We campaign to stop people using Blue Badges wrongly. We're looking at how we can use laws that the Scottish Parliament has been debating to help people who use the Blue Badge scheme correctly.
