In Scotland we campaign to achieve positive changes for disabled people by influencing the Scottish Government.

We also work with Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs) to make sure they hear about the issues that matter to disabled people in Scotland – from the care and support people get, through to ensuring disabled people are able to get to and use public transport.

Some of our recent campaigning includes:

  • Working to make housing in Scotland more disabled-friendly
  • Ensuring the Blue Badge scheme works for the disabled people who need it and is not misused.
  • Influencing a new law, the Self-Directed Support (Scotland) Act, which gives disabled people more control over their care.

In 2016, people living in Scotland will be able to vote in the Scottish Parliament elections. Find out about registering to vote and access to voting.
