IT Befriender

Ideally this would be a regular commitment, to suit the needs of the individual and volunteer.Preferrable days would be a Tuesday and Thursday.This will be discussed during the recruitment procedure.

One of our female tenants at Bradbury Court is looking for a Befriender to support her in her local community while enjoying good conversation to support her to learn IT new skills.

Virtual Christmas Volunteer

Sessions would last on average 60 minutes and we would like to offer sessions on a regular basis, throughout December

Christmas is going to be different for our residents this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun. We are currently recruiting a number of volunteers to become Leonard Cheshire Christmas elves and spread some joy this festive season.

Weekend Activities Volunteer

We are specifically looking for volunteers who could support activities for a few hours on a weekend morning or afternoon. We are looking for volunteers who could regularly commit to 1 or 2 weekends a month.

Hill House care home is looking for a volunteer to facilitate activities at weekends for adults with physical disabilities.

Gardening Volunteer

Hill House care home is looking for volunteer gardeners to help with the upkeep of the service’s large landscaped gardens. If you have green fingers and a few hours to spare we would love to hear from you.

We are specifically looking for volunteers who meet tenants for a couple of hours at least once a month.

Tenants at St Helen’s Supported Living are looking for befrienders to spend time 1-1 with residents, playing card games and sharing chats.

Suggested commitment is twice per week, however, volunteers are able to give their time flexibly in mutual agreement with the service they are volunteering with, but a regular commitment is appreciated

To help with the upkeep of the service in general garden activities or to provide additional support to people who use our services on a 1-1 or group basis, independently or with other staff/volunteers dependent on activity/numbers taking part.
