Fundraising Admin Volunteer (#001)
An extremely worthwhile role for the right person who would like to offer their skills and time in planning and overseeing local charitable collections conducted by a small team of volunteer fundraisers.
Generally, 2-3 hours a week at most when street collections are ongoing in the Spring and Summer months. Collection cans in shops are administered routinely throughout the year. All money raised is counted and accounted for in our service Administration Office. Time commitment is discussed and agreed beforehand to ensure that everyone is happy.
The charity has a fundraising manager for large events but locally we require someone with an interest in raising local funds and supporting the local volunteering team arranging street collections, cans in shops and counting donations,
A really worthwhile task doing some basic but engaging planning and administrative work but always with the support of the volunteer co-ordinator at hand.
Travel expenses are paid. All cash raised is spent locally in supporting local people to live a better life.
