Employment Training Support Volunteer


We are currently recruiting for a volunteer to join the WoW team in changing the lives of disabled people through the world of work, education and volunteering.

Time commitment

Each cohort will last seven weeks with two sessions per week. We will have a two week break in-between cohorts.

(Roughly five hours a week during cohorts)

Role description

Working on Wellbeing

Working on Wellbeing is an employment training and support programme for disabled people in Wales. We will work with participants to develop a programme around their career goals and how you can achieve them, whether that be through employment, training, education, or volunteering.

The purpose of this role will be to support the employment coordinator in delivering starting line training as part of the “Working on Wellbeing” programme.

The role includes :

  • Assisting with setting up the venue and packing away
  • Greeting and registering participants
  • Leading small group icebreakers
  • Assisting individual participants who may need additional support through written work
  • Maintaining a friendly and approachable manner throughout the programme

Sessions may be delivered face to face or online dependant on participants needs.
