Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Can Do Research Volunteer will assist the Programme Coordinator to help identify opportunities for community engagement, delivery locations and partners.

Time commitment

Minimum of 2 hours a week – flexibly arranged with the programme coordinator.

Role description

Can Do is a skills development programme for individuals aged 16-35 with a disability or long term health condition. Leonard Cheshire partners with schools, colleges and other community facilitators to deliver virtual and face to face sessions.

The Can Do Research Volunteer will assist the Programme Coordinator to identify opportunities for community engagement, delivery locations and partners.

The role will also include other administrative support functions.

Role Requirements

  • Proven research skills
  • Competency with Microsoft Office software
  • Access to laptop or personal computer
  • Good communication
  • No prior experience working with disabled people required
  • All volunteers will be provided with volunteer training and induction.
  • This role requires two references.
