Activities Befriender Volunteer (#013)
Summary
We're looking for a volunteer to support a young woman who has learning difficulties to go out and about in the local community.
The resident likes to visit outdoor centres, wildlife venues, cafes, shops and also enjoys amateur photography.

Time commitment
Normally only around two hours per befriending visit on days and times discussed and agreed to suit all parties.

Role description
This is a wonderfully rewarding opportunity for a volunteer befriender who will attend at our supported living house in Annan and support the female client who has slight learning difficulty to do pass-times or activities as agreed or to go out into the community for walks, shopping and visitor centres.
No personal care tasks are involved.
All travel and other necessary expenses are paid and full support is given.
