Payroll giving

You can donate directly from your gross pay at the end of each month and help individuals to live, learn & work.

How to give to us from your salary, tax-free

Payroll Giving, also known as Give As You Earn (GAYE) is a scheme by which your donation is deducted from your gross pay, before it is taxed. This means if you give £10 each month to Leonard Cheshire Disability, it will in effect only cost you £8 (basic rate of 20 per cent tax), as the rest of the donation is made up by HM Treasury.

Firstly check with your personnel department that your company offers the Give As You Earn scheme. If they do, they should provide a form for you to fill in and give to your payroll department. They will then arrange for the payment to be made to us each month. If your company doesn’t offer Give As You Earn, please consider setting up a direct debit as an alternative.
