Young Voices: empowering young people with disabilities to speak out for their rights

Young Voices is a global network of over 1,200 young people with disabilities from over 20 countries. They campaign for the rights of people with disabilities worldwide using creative methods including films and music.

Through their campaigns, Young Voices persuade governments to change laws, introduce new policies and sign and ratify the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD). They transform attitudes towards disability among communities. They convince schools, businesses, politicians and many others to give people with disabilities the opportunities they deserve.
